Challenge
The scale of the product made the redesign particularly complex. iDoctus is an extensive platform — with medical news updated weekly, drugs across all specialties, clinical tools, and curated educational content. The challenge was to bring coherence and clarity to this enormous amount of information without compromising speed or reliability.
The product also needed to function across very different medical contexts: from a quick lookup in a consultation room to moments of focus in an operating theatre. Beyond its practical use, the platform had to support doctors in keeping up to date with medical advances — offering not just the vademecum itself, but also a space for curated news, self-assessment challenges, and continuous learning.
Approach
Our process began by analyzing real-life scenarios of use to understand how professionals interacted with the tool in time-sensitive, high-stakes environments. From these insights, we defined a new visual and interaction model that prioritizes legibility, hierarchy, and ease of access.
